Increased Number of Troopers on I-80 this Weekend

Published On: August 28, 2015Categories: OVI, OVI Lawyer

This weekend the Ohio State Highway Patrol will be joining other law enforcement officers across the country to reduce serious injury crashes and to apprehend drivers who use the interstate for criminal activity. There will be an increased number of Troopers on I-80 beginning today through the weekend.

Did you know that under Ohio law, there is a mandatory administrative suspension of your driver’s license for a minimum of 90 days if you are arrested for OVI, and test above the legal limit. If you refused the breath test, your driver’s license will be administratively suspended for a minimum of one year.

As always, if you plan of drinking, designate a sober driver. The financial impact of an OVI arrest is exorbitantly more than the cost of a taxi or an uber ride home.

If you are someone you know has been arrested for OVI or any criminal offense, contact our OVI attorneys immediately. We are available 24/7 at 216-875-5555.
