The Results of July 4th Weekend: 690 Arrests

Last week we announced that the Ohio State Highway Patrol would be out in full force looking for impaired drivers. The results are in. OSHP made 690 arrests for impaired driving and 391 arrests for drug related incidents last Fourth of July weekend.

The City of Cleveland Police Department will be conducting a Drivers License Checkpoint TONIGHT (Friday, July 10th) from 8:00 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Lorain and Fulton. Be prepared to provide your drivers license, registration, and proof of insurance. As always, if you plan on drinking this weekend, designate a sober driver.

The OSHP has announced that it will be conducting an OVI checkpoint this weekend in Jefferson County. We will keep you informed on the location, date, and time of the checkpoint.
