Did you know that Cleveland has been deemed one of the best cities to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? With St. Patrick’s Day quickly approaching, the Martinez Firm wants to remind you to designate a sober driver this weekend and on March 17th.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol has announced that it will be working with local law enforcement to remove impaired drivers as part of the National Highway Safety Administration’s Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving campaign this St. Patrick’s Day.
Last year, four people were killed in three crashes in Ohio on St. Patrick’s Day. During this 24-hour period, the Ohio State Highway Patrol made 84 OVI arrests. This St. Patrick’s Day more than 99 local law enforcement agencies around Ohio will be conducting enforcement activity, saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints, funded by federal grants.
Be safe this weekend and this St. Patrick’s Day. Designate a sober driver.
